Beginning their musical quest in 1969, Sage started the journey, never taking the typical path, staying true to the mission of playing good R&B funk and soul. From the early 70's to its present form, Sage has maintained the eight-piece member format for that big, full sound they like to deliver at live performances. Although based in San Jose, CA, it was obvious from the beginning the solid rhythm section and blasting horn section felt the funk and soul influences of the East Bay.

Love Stoned was created by "Joey Jam" Flores in 2009, giving the local clubs what has been missing..... Good R&B, Latin Funk with a twist of todays modern sound "Live". His New 2010 seasoned line up consist of "Lead Vocalist" and Bay Area Known "Carla Blackwell", Veteran and Recording Artist on bass "Ramiro Amador", Session Recording Guitarest "Stan Davis" and Latin session artist "Rudy Quesada" on Percussion and of course "Joey Jam" Flores on Drums & Vocals.

The Groove Kings musical repertoire features dance party hits from popular rock n' roll to classic R&B. Whether it's a popular Motown medley, a Van Morrison ode, or the "Smooth" sounds of Santana, all the music is arranged and performed with the purpose of getting everyone on the dance floor, singing along and clapping their hands. The Groove Kings honor successful Bay Area bands performing songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tower of Power and The Doobie Brothers. The legends of rock and soul are featured as well as are seventies disco favorites.
