The Dancin' on the Avenue Community Dance Stage is bigger and better than ever. Put on your dancing shoes and learn how to line dance with Adam the Dancing Cowboy, cha-cha with Broadway San Jose, or Zumba with Xtreme Fitness. Pull out the video cams and cameras and capture the youngsters dancing everything from ballet, jazz, tap to Indian Bollywood. There will be dances from around the world — Latin, Irish, Mexican, Egyptian and belly dancing. For something different — Circus of Fire performs a fire dance and Wicked will hip hop.
Sabrina Martinez, a dance instructor and Willow Glen resident, chairs this year's community dance stage. "The stage is larger this year to accommodate the big performance groups. It will feature a blend of dynamic performances and audience participation acts. Giving the artists and audience a chance to let go, and have a blast!" says Ms Martinez. Warren Baker of Shafty Entertainment, will be the MC and will provide DJ music during breaks.
Come early and bring the kids to Dancin' on the Avenue Kids' Court sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank and located in the Wells Fargo parking lot. The kids can make art, play carnival games, get temporary tattoos, or amazing face painting by All That Glitters. Toss for a gold fish, or shoot basketballs for prizes. Work off some of that energy at the Fuze Fit for a Kid fitness course and drills. The fun is endless. Top off a great evening by having a family dinner at one of the food booths — most of which are from downtown Willow Glen restaurants.

Dancin' on the Avenue would not be possible without the tremendous support we get every year from all the volunteers that staff the event for us. We're especially grateful to the help we're getting from the following organizations.
